Background
Tour of Taste is a four-year conceptual magazine series that celebrates food and design from around the world. Each issue focuses on one country and one season, combining photography, recipes, and storytelling. The Winter 2025 Italy Edition explores the heart of Italian cuisine through authentic dishes, regional traditions, and elegant layouts inspired by classic editorial design.
Design Problem
Create a visually consistent editorial system that can grow over multiple years and across various countries, each with its own tone and flavor, while maintaining a shared brand identity.
The challenge: achieving a balance between consistency and cultural uniqueness through layout, typography, and seasonal color systems.
Design Solution
The final magazine balances storytelling and design. Clean grids, warm photography, and cohesive typography bring Italian culture to life. Each spread blends imagery and text to create a flow that feels cinematic yet approachable. The system can easily expand for future issues, maintaining a shared brand identity while adapting seasonal colors and imagery to reflect new countries and themes.
