Energizer has long been recognized as a global leader in portable power products. This rebranding project transforms the company’s identity from a traditional battery brand into a modern energy company focused on innovation, sustainability, and global lifestyle relevance. The new system maintains the bold, energetic essence of the original brand while introducing a more flexible, future-ready identity built around clean typography, a vibrant gradient of orange, and a modern lightning-bolt symbol representing speed and innovation.
Design Problem
The challenge was to modernize Energizer’s visual identity while preserving its heritage and recognition. The goal was to create a unified system that works seamlessly across corporate, retail, digital, and environmental platforms, communicating reliability, motion, and sustainability without losing the brand’s energy and confidence.
Design Solution
I designed a modern identity system that reflects Energizer’s shift toward smart, sustainable energy. The core element is the new Z-bolt, a dynamic symbol integrated into the typography to represent instant power. Paired with a vibrant orange gradient and a structured grid, the rebrand shifts the company's image from a traditional battery maker to a forward-thinking energy leader.
